Integration Microsoft Project with SAP
TPG PSLink is quite simply the world’s leading integration of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) with SAP. TPG PSLink enables you to combine the advantages of the most popular project management software with those of the leading ERP system. Everyone works with whichever tool is best for them. Your day-today work efficiency increases, as our many TPG PSLink reference customers can confirm. Data Exchange in Both Directions
TPG PSLink enables the bidirectional
data exchange between Microsoft Project and SAP. With its
extensive checking mechanisms, TPG PSLink ensures the
complete consistency of all of the shared data in the
participating systems. A difference analysis shows you the
changes in the data before they are written to the other
system – and only these changes are transferred. This is
what makes TPG PSLink so unique compared to other solutions.
TPG PSLink is extensively configurable, enabling it to support clearly defined use cases in project management and accountancy. SAP is primarily used as the backend for financial controlling, while the project planning is conducted in Microsoft Project. TPG PSLink supports PS objects like work breakdown structure (WBS) elements and network activities, but can also operate with CO, CATS and other modules directly. This makes TPG PSLink very flexible to be used in various scenarios including also those where SAP PS is not implemented. This synchronization can be triggered manually on the client or scheduled on the TPG PSLink server, using the Windows Scheduling Service.
