Setting up Reports with Microsoft Project Server 2003/2007 without Programming
 

 

This 2-day course comprehends the creation of single- and multi project management queries for your personal reporting. The content of the course varies in order of the needs of the participants and comprises intensive hands on training. Without any programming - only using the facility of Microsoft Project Server 2003/2007 and SQL Server - you will create solutions that you may use in your future daily work.

Having this knowledge you will be fully flexible and work much more efficiantly within your project reporting.

Target Audience
This course is a must for anyone who serves as a Microsoft Project Server administrator and member of PMOs in charge of reporting topics.

Pre-Requisites
Basics in SQL Server 2000/2005 and Microsoft Project Server 2003/2007. Programming knowledge is not required for this workshop.

  4. Overview of Analysis Services OLAP Cube creation
  5. Analysis of standard Cubes for projects, resources and assingments

  7. creation of SQL Server views for the OLAP cube generation
  8. creation of a Cube with task information and by special requirements
  9. creation of Pivot tables and Pivot chart reports based on the Cubes
